Alan McFadyen: Perseverance is Key to Getting that Perfect Shot

Have you ever spent ages shooting and wondering when you're going to get that perfect shot? Alan McFadyen has been striving for the perfect kingfisher diving shot (straight dive with no splashing) and he finally got it, after 4,200 hours and 720,000 photos later. That's some dedication. But when you have a vision and you stick to it, your perseverance will pay off. McFadyen expresses, “I never really stopped to think about how long it was taking along the way as I enjoyed doing it but now I look back on it I’m really proud of the picture and the work I put in.” To be honest, I think some of his other kingfisher shots are just as amazing, but scroll down to the bottom to see his perfect shot!
